Wonderful Weekend

What a fabulous weekend! I got so much accomplished, and for once it wasn't school work! On Friday, we worked in the yard to make it look pretty and springy. We did some weed pulling, flower planting, garage straightening, and lawn mowing. Our yard was beautiful when we finished. Sammi was even entertained and out of the way while we worked.
After working for a few hours in the yard, we set up the grill for hamburgers. Yum! The first BBQ of the year, and boy was it delicious. Savanna was indeed a very good cook.

It was Sidewalk Chalk week on Mainstreet, so after dinner, we headed over to see some amazing chalk art drawings. These are just a few pics of the many spectacular chalk arts.

The fabulous Superman!

On Saturday, we did some house work and mom completely rearranged the house. Dad woke up the sprinklers from their winter nap and Karissa had to make sure they were working properly by running through them.

Sunday we went to the local rest home and helped the sweet elderly people to Sacrament meeting. We also had a nice visit with Grandma, Grandpa, and cousins after church.

The weather was perfect and much was accomplished. All in all, it was a great spring weekend.
