This year for the Fourth of July, our family stayed close to home. On July 3rd we went and saw fireworks at a nearby golf course. One of my favorite parts is when the parachuter with the American flag lands in the golf course.

The fireworks were fabulous, as always.

On July 5th, we celebrated the Fourth, as well as Rebecca's 10th birthday with family. We had our annual parade. This was one of my favorite floats: The two Miss Utahs, complete with the "elbow, elbow, wrist, wrist, pearls" movement.

Aunt Laura brought one of my favorite games, LYCRA! It's a game played with stretchy underwear fabric. The goal is to run from one side to the other without killing each other.

Rachel decided she wanted to feel all grown up and wear her daddy's shoes. So cute!

Oops! Fall down! Those are big shoes!

We finished off the night with our own firework show. We had Piccolo Petes, Snaps, the flashy fireworks, and my favorite, Sparklers.
