On President's Day, I went skiing with my friend James and his family. We had a super fun time skiing at Solitude ski resort. I had only gone skiing twice, so James had to basically teach me everything all over again. He was very patient with me and was an excellent teacher. I progressed quite a bit by the end of the day, thanks to him. Throughout the day we had some good laughs and had a great time, but I didn't realize how much skiing would wear me out! I was ready to hybernate like a bear once I got home. Skiing reminded me of the Olympics going on right now. The athletes make it look so easy, but it's a lot harder than it looks. I've always respected Olympians, but I have a lot more respect for them now. They are so inspiring and amazing. I wish all of them could acheive their dreams and get a gold medal because of how much dedication they have. Hip hip for them. :)
Here are some of my favorite Olympians:
Shaun White
Julia Mancuso and Lindsey Vonn
Apolo Ohno
