Mentos, Sunrises, and Lipstick

Last weekend was fabulous. On Friday, I mixed Diet Coke and mentos with mi amigos. If you have not heard of this concoction of mischief, read here. I thought for sure I was going to get in trouble. I never do things like this.

The next morning the seniors watched the sunrise, representing a new year together. At the end of the year we will watch the sunset.

Later that day, I went shopping for costume materials for the school musical. Luckily, the local theatre was having a costume/makeup sale, so I headed over and found everything I needed! In the musical, we're supposed to wear red lipstick, and I found the perfect shade of red at the sale. Take a look...

Shocking, isn't it?! I put it on when I got home, just to test it out, and it would not come off, so I had to wear it the rest of the day. I thought I might as well have fun with it, so I accented with red jewelry. It just so happened I went homecoming dress shopping that day (and found the perfect dress) but got a few funny looks while doing so. It's fun to be different. :)
