I'll admit it, I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. I went to the midnight showing on the 18th/19th, and would have dressed up properly if I had the time to find an outfit. I went with Melissa and together we went with Kaitlyn (it was her birthday) and a bunch of her friends. I didn't know very many of her friends, but Melissa and I knew Gavin, so we hung out with him most of the night. The movie was absolutely fantastic. A billion times better than the other movies. The acting and videoing has come along way. I guess that's what happens when you have money to make a movie. The 2 1/2 hours flew by, and when the screen went blank at the end, the entire theatre moaned, "No!" I'll admit there were a few details from the book I wish they would have included in the movie, but I guess it's hard to include every detail. Oh well. I can't wait until 7.2! After the movie, the three of us went to MacDonald's for ice cream. Except one problem: the ice cream machine wasn't working. So we got parfaits instead. It seemed to be more appropriate anyway because it was now morning time. It also happened to be Gavin's birthday. What a great way to start the day! All in all it was a great night, er, morning. ;)
