My dog and I have been having a really weird relationship lately. Ok, maybe we've always had a weird relationship, but I've just been talking more about her than usual. Today I came home from school and turned on some music. This beautiful song came on with a perfect waltz time. I began dancing (yes, with myself. which I do quite often. ashamed? not even.) I was so caught up in my imagination that I didn't notice my surroundings. I imagined being in a fancy hall, wearing a beautiful dress with my hair done up all pretty. If you've seen the Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley, I was actually thinking along the lines of that look. And of course I was dancing with a dashingly handsome young man. My dream world popped once the song ended. I realized where I really was and turned to see my dog. She was sitting upright in the chair, leaning as far into it as possible, as if she were trying to keep away from me, and her eyes did that thing where one is half closed and the other one is wide open. You know, that look of, "are you nuts?" It just made me laugh. Good thing dogs can keep secrets. I'm sure I didn't look near as elegant as I felt.
{In my imagination I was smiling}
P.S. Happy birthday to Dad whose birthday was on the first! He is the best man I know, and very forgiving. It is my own requirement for me to marry someone just like him. Love you Daddy!

I LOOOVVVEEE PRIDE AND PREJUDICE!!!!
haha. i have been in that situation before. :) mr darcy can do that to you. i'm not a fan of keira. have you seen the colin firth pride and prejudice? if you have, then you're a real fan. i also recommend sence and sensibility(both versions), persuation, and i hear young victoria is good too, but i haven't seen it :) if you would like to read some books about it: mr. darcy's diary, and Austenland. :) take it from an AVID jane austin fan.
and don't forget North and South! although it's not jane austin..
