After 9 months of school, reading 35,010 years worth of history and 1,012 pages of a text book (every. page. read.), after approximately 410 hours = 17 days = 2.7 hours of studying a day; after extreme lack of sleep, killing hundreds of trees, many prayers, hours of listening to music, having study sessions with Melissa, and 4 hours and 5 minutes of brain-frying testing, AP American is HISTORY!!!! I never thought this day would come and here it is. HOORAY!!! Now I don't know what I'm going to do with my spare time!
Thanks to Ms. Ball and Mr. Harris, as well as family and friends for teaching/helping/calming/assisting/pushing/encouraging me and putting up with this craziness. (I feel like I won an Oscar or something).
In the wise, wise words of Mr. Harris: "I hope you have learned, enjoyed, stressed, internalized, grown, matured, forgiven, and benefited from the class- I Have!! Thank You!"
Indeed I have, Mr. Harris, indeed I have. Thank you. ;)
P.S. Fun (insane) fact: if you combine all 70 AP students, and their study hours, it would be: 28,700 hours = 1,196 days = 3.5 years!! (Give or take a few hours depending on the student. Still, it's nuts.)
And yes, I know I'm a nerd for figuring out all these numbers. I just had to know, and I guess that's what an AP student does in their newly found free time. :)
