Well folks, I got meself some new glasses before I head off to the scholarly land of college. Whaddya think? Do they make me look like a scholar? Would Mr. Harris be proud?
I think so! But ha! Joke's on you cuz those aren't my real glasses. But they're pretty darn close!
Yup, those are it. My Carl-from-Up glasses. Or, as my sister so lovingly told me when she first saw them, "Whoa, when you first walked in, I thought you were wearing Doobner glasses!" Oh dear. I guess I'm not as "scholarly" looking as I thought. But hey, being a Doobner can be just as good.
Ya wanna know something else? I had brown eyes for like five hours after I went to the eye doctor. It was great! I've always wondered what it'd be like to have brown eyes. I love brown eyes and was so glad I had the opportunity to have a pair of my own-- if only for a short time.
P.S. In case there are people out there who have very common blonde moments like myself, my "brown eyes" were equivalent to the dilation of my pupils... they were huge, so I just pretended they were brown. My mom thought otherwise. She said I looked like I was on drugs. What ever happened to imagination? ;)
