Get Your Game On

Senate Dance 2010
Day: March 13, 2010
Date: Matt
Theme: Get Your Game On
The Asking:
Since the dance theme was, 'Get Your Game On,' I asked Matt to the dance with a pack of Go Fish cards.

The Answer:
The doorbell ring, then an engine revved, and I got so excited because I thought, "I think I'm getting answered!" Sure enough, I opened the door, and there was a sack of potatoes waiting for me.

Day Activity:
We had such a fun time with our day activity. We did a picture scavenger hunt and split up into two groups. I was with Matt, Cubby, and Brianna. The other group was Melissa & Michael, and Kiana & Morgan (although they only did the day activity with us). Our group totally dominated the other group. We beat them by 100 points! :) We had to do some fun and crazy things like:

Play Twister in an elevator.
Propose to a stranger.
"Hitchhike" to Lake Titicaca.
Be dead.
Form a 10-person pyramid.
Run a fast food restaurant's drive through and wear the headset. (This one was the most points.)
This was one of my favorite day activities ever.

The Dance:
Since the theme was, "Get Your Game On," we could dress up as any board game, video game, or sport's game. Our group chose to be the board game Clue. I was Ms. Peacock and my date was Colonel Mustard. I personally think our group had the best costumes. I was blown away at how awesome everyone looked, and how well they fit their character. We had a delicious dinner at my house and then headed off to the dance. I had an insane amount of fun at the dance. Matt has the best/most unique dance moves I've ever seen. It was awesome. After the dance we went to Melissa's house and had Skookies (a delicious creation of a big cookie, topped with ice cream and syrupy toppings. Yum!). We also played Clue (after making guesses that Ms. Scarlet would be the murder) and who do ya think was the murderer? Yep, Ms. Scarlet. (Sorry Melissa!) ;)

{I had way too much fun putting my costume together. I loved my peacock earrings.}

{Very Clue-like if you ask me.}

{Yes, my date had to sign the shotgun shell.} :P

Definitely one of the best dances I've been to. :)
