Today a few friends of mine: Melissa, Andy, Tony, and I decided to go hiking. We hiked up a beautiful trail in the mountains. It rained earlier today, so the ground was a little muddy, but that didn't stop us. (Although by the end of the hike our feet and pants were soaked.) About half way up the trail we ran into some snow. We decided to build a snowman, and although we didn't name him I thought he was pretty cute.

The hike was about 3 miles one-way. When we got to the top, this was the view we saw. Absolutely beautiful.
As we were resting we tried to see who could hit the rock. Tony had a pretty good arm, as well as the others... Mine barely got past the first three trees, thanks to the athletically challenged part of me. ;)
It was nice to get away from school and the world for a bit and enjoy time in the beautiful nature God has given us. In a way it was sort of a celebration of Earth Day!
