Tonight I am going to a Seminary Council appreciation dinner for last year's Seminary Council. I volunteered to make the dessert. My first plan was to make Zeppoli, an Italian-type donut (since our dinner is Italian), but it didn't turn out so well. I turned to plan B: trifle. I got the recipe from Marta, and although hers looks a lot more appealing, I thought mine turned out okay. Especially since it was my first time making something other than cookies, brownies, or a cake, and I didn't use a trifle bowl. Since it was split into two pans, I made one pan with Symphony candy bars and the other with Hershey almond bars. Let's just hope it tastes as good as it looks. ;)

YUMMY!! That looks soooo good! If you have any leftovers well...you know who to bring them too.
P.S. your apron is really cute :)
Yummy!!! You should make that for sometime when we get together with the Dixon side!...Oh and you look beautiful!
Haha you look like such a darling happy homemaker/mini martha in that adorable apron and matching necklace! LOVE it Jess! It looks way good too!
That is a very cute apron...who did you borrow it from ;)? And the dessert looks heavenly--glad there were left-overs!
REMEMBER HOW MUCH FUN WE USED TO HAVE IN FOODS? Haha, that's what this reminded me of. But look how far you have come! You're off making all these fancy things, and I'm still cracking eggs the wrong way. You're the greatest!
